Bathtime with Dad..

Tj has found that one of his favorite things to do is to give Orvil a bath.... also he wants him to really like the water. These were taken just a few days ago... Orvil seems to love the water he is always really calm and relaxed especially if Dad is with him.

The Maiden Voyage....

Awhile ago on my blog I posted about the awesome running stroller that my mom got me. In that post I talked about how I would document the maiden voyage. Well I did it I got my stroller out the other day.... Orvil has been a little bit fussy or would you say colicky? he cried most of the night.... I decided that sleep wasn't an option and I couldn't carry him around anymore and so I threw him in the stroller and we headed out for a walk.... (to put icing on the cake as I was coming out of my little subdivision who came running by a few of my friends from work who I run with.) Yeah hopefully in a few weeks I will be running with them again. For now my walks with Orvil and our awesome running stroller will have to do......



Another thing that is a lifesaver with a fussy baby is a Bouncer and he love's his...(even though in this picture he is frowning.) (:

A work in progress.

So I haven't posted about our house in awhile it is really coming along. I need to get some more recent pictures this one was taken on June 10th. There has been so much progress and alot of changes since then.



This is taken from kinda far away so it's hard to see sorry... I will post more when I take some. It has been really fun, busy, and crazy summer.... and Tj has been so busy, when he comes home he is really tired but hopefully it will all be worth it when we get to move into our new house! (:

This Is Funny.....

I caught this funny picture of Orvil the other day it is so funny he was being so animated and hyper... he is getting to be so much fun.....

Fun Summer Nights

So one of our favorite places to eat is a fairly new little restaurant in town called 25th and Main.... it is located on main street just south of McArthur Jewelers. This restaurant is very well known for there cupcakes which are so good. One of the more popular flavors is coconut it is so good. (P.S. Coconut is only made on the weekends.)


We also enjoy there Pasta it is yummy....



This was one of our first family outings with Orvil we went to dinner at 25th and Main and then we went to Grandma Rogers house to go swimming... it was his first swim...it was pretty short because it was a little cold but it was still a fun little family outing.





We love being able to enjoy our parents awesome backyards during these nice summer nights.

Midnight Faces.....

So sometimes in the middle of the night I take pictures of Orvil because he is just so stinkin cute and because I am awake, bored, and the camera is right there. Here are some of my favorites... this kid is just so stinkin cute.

First Day at Church...

The first time we took him to church was when he was about 3 weeks old. It was so fun to get him all ready and also it was fun for me to get out of the house.




His Dad loves to style his hair and so for the first time at church what did we end up with ? A mohawk.

Cousins are the coolest......

This is Kason, Aubrey, and Hallee. They are patiently taking turns holding baby Orvil. They are all so cute and so much fun.



This is his closest cousin in age this is Lisha's little girl Bailey who is about 6 months older than him. Bailey thought he was a toy so I couldn't get him to close to her but I think some day they could be pretty good friends.



This is Ellie and Ashtyn some more of his cousins. They also came over right after I had him and they were so excited to hold him especially Ashtyn... she is in that little girl doll stage and she just love's baby's and so she loves Orvil!



Hallee Tebbs with Orvil just after he was born.

She said the cutest thing to her mom she said "Mom can we go see the baby with all of the dark hair?" I love Hallee's big smile in this picture she was so excited to hold him.

Snuggle Time....

There is something so cute about newborn baby's when they are sleeping they are just so sweet. They always snuggle up with there arms and legs all tucked in next to there bodies. He spends so many hours a day sleeping so...I narrowed it down to these few favorites....

This is one our favorite pictures of him we call it Bassinet Bathing.....(and no we didn't pose his arms like this in fact we have found him several times with his arms either just up above his head or like this tucked behind his head... pretty cool huh?)
It looks like he is just living off the fat of the land and loving life....

Baby Shower Gifts.....

The following pictures are two baby shower gifts that I got that I loved and totally used...

This first picture is a cake made out of Diapers that Tj's sister Bree made for me. Bree was nice enough with the help of my mother-in-law to throw a shower for me. The colors were green and brown and it turned out really cute.. the centerpiece to the table was this cake made out of diapers and baby stuff. Thanks so much Bree!
p.s. I have already used all of the diapers from that cake!



The Second picture is of me holding the cake.. I included this picture because its the only picture I have of me way pregnant... (but the problem is that the maternity shirt I had on hides it really well)... bummer oh well that's my way pregnant picture. (:



The other pictures I have included our another way good gift that I recieved from my cousin's wife Linda North. It is a little cover for the baby's carseat. It turned out so cute she picked out the cutest fabric. I totally use this everyday in fact I think it is a needed item. This cover lets him sleep if your out and about, it keeps the sun out of his eyes and off of his skin, it keeps people from bugging him, it keeps the wind and bugs out, etc. So yeah thanks Linda for the awesome gift I totally love it!

This is him asleep in my silky blanket and the boppy... he totally loved it.



I took this picture the morning after we had him, while we were still in the hospital. I woke up and looked over and Tj was holding him, and his eyes were wide open, he was so awake and so adorable.... We totally love this kid.

Crazy, Buzy, Fun, Exciting Summer....

So this summer has been crazy for Tj and I. We just had a little boy about a month ago and this summer we have the awesome opportunity to build our own house. We broke ground a few weeks ago....
I will include some pictures from my camera but it has already changed so much as these pictures were taken over a week ago.
Tj has joined the crew and is helping build the house as well, he is having alot of fun spending all day working on our house.
Orvil and I take almost a daily excursion out to the house to see the changes and to check things out.... it is really exciting and really fun.

I could blame it on taking care of little orvil... but really the reality is our computer broke and so I wasn't able to put pictures up on our blog and what is a post about our brand new baby without pictures?
